About this Event

OAPN Presents: "Tuesday Talks" with an Ohio Artist, Presenter, and Agent to discuss their approach to fair artist fees, limited venue capacity & safety for all parties.

Panel includes: Lisa Biales (Musician, Singer-Songwriter), Erin Cameron Miller (General Manager of Cain Park), and Tammy Walkup (Agent at Class Acts Entertainment)

Lisa Biales: Performing comes naturally for this Ohio native who grew up in a musical family and has been singing from a very young age. As early as the 6th grade, Lisa played acoustic guitar in church, and for weddings. As a member of the long-time folk duo Prairie Orchid, with Sarah Goslee Reed, Biales played over 100 shows a year as an artist-in-schools educational performer. Always writing and performing her own music, Biales started her recording career in 1999.

Erin Cameron Miller: Having worked both sides of the stage, Erin brings a unique set of skills to her 16 years as General Manager at Cain Park. She was Production Manager at Cain Park for 10 years before becoming an Equity Stage Manager and then touring the world with David Copperfield as his Production Stage Manager.

Tammy Walkup: Having performed since the age of 16, Tammy has a unique set of skills for booking entertainment for her clients by being able to see the event needs from both sides of the stage. Her goal is to pair the perfect performer with each client and exceed their expectations. With 25 years of booking experience, her focus at Class Acts evolved to book with performing arts centers, festivals and parks and recreation departments to help them develop a high energy summer concert series.
