OHIO ARTS PROFESSIONALS NETWORK TO HOST IN-PERSON NETWORKING CONFERENCE IN CLEVELAND OHIO AT PLAYHOUSE SQUARE OCTOBER 18-20

Ohio’s Leading Professional Arts Networking Organization Invites Performing Artists, Agents, Service Organizations and Presenters to Attend 

 Cleveland OH (June 1, 2021) — The Ohio Arts Professionals Network (OAPN) will host an in-person 2021 Conference October 18-20 at Playhouse Square located in the historic Playhouse Square District in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. This year’s conference will host 24 juried showcases from performing artists of all genres.  These performances will take place inside the stunning 1,000 seat Mimi Ohio Theatre. Conference attendees can expect to find numerous networking opportunities, exceptional juried showcases, industry meetups, one-on-ones, professional development, and a bustling exhibit hall. Attendees can enjoy a reduced OAPN hotel rate by reserving a room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located conveniently across the street, or at the Comfort Inn, an 8 minute walk from Playhouse Square.

 “Call For Artists” -  This year’s conference, through an inaugural sponsorship program, is offering new opportunities for self or unrepresented in-state artists who self identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and/or an artists with a disability to attend and showcase in person for free.OAPN will also offer virtual spotlight showcases to a handful of artists from across the globe who cannot commit to traveling to Ohio for our in-person conference. Artists looking to connect with OAPN should visit oapn.org/2021-conference and learn how to Submit To Showcase through the I Want To Showcase platform. The deadline to submit is June 21. 

Ohio Presenters of all backgrounds are invited to register to attend the 2021 Conference to network with fellow Presenters, discover new talent, and to connect with Agents who represent an array of Artists suitable for venues that seat 30-3,000.  Agencies looking to book their Artists throughout Ohio are encouraged to become members and attend to network and block-book with statewide presenters.

Conference Registration opens Tuesday, June 1 at 10 AM and OAPN encourages arts professionals to learn more about attending our in person Conference by visiting oapn.org
